Symbol AP-5181 access point is specially designed to provide enterprise-class wireless networking to outdoor facilities, such as processing plants and ship yards. With its wireless mesh feature it is also capable to connect two wired networks or to create a complex multi-node, multi-link network.
Most important feature of Symbol AP-5181 is however its capability to extend the network to outdoor or remote locations - without the expense of installing additional cable or fiber.
Symbol AP-5181 is part of complete outdoor AP solution. Available options include a heavy weather mounting kit, a power trap kit and a host of outdoor dual-band antennas, as well as network design and ongoing support.
