Socket Cordless Hand Scanner 7P combines a Linear CMOS technology bar code scanning and the convenience of Bluetooth wireless technology in a single compact, lightweight device that is ergonomically designed to fit comfortably in the palm of your hand. With powerful Class 1 Bluetooth radio it allows the user to stay connected with laptop or desktop at the maximum possible range — even when connected to the weaker Class 2 Bluetooth radios found in many mobile devices.

Socket Cordless Hand Scanner 7P is ruggedized and can withstand multiple 5ft drops to concrete and is water and dust resistant. Furthermore, this barcode scanner can operate for hours without without the need to recharge batteries. The CHS 7E includes SocketScan™ software which directs scanned data into any Windows, Palm or Symbian application as if it were manually typed.
