Printer labels
Termo labels are produced of heat sensitive material. Printing is accomplished by exposing this material to heat generated by printer head. This eliminates the need of printer ribbons.
Thermo labels are commonly used for postal shiping, price labels and other areas of use where durability of print is not expected to be longer than 3-6 months.
Material used for thermo labels is sensitive to ultraviolet light and print quality will degrade if exposed direct sun light or heat.
Termo transfer labels is developed for barcode printers. Printer ribbons are necessary for prints on this type of labels.
Termo transfer or TTR labels are suitable for use areas where life length of the label is expected to be longer than 6 months or where requirements on label durability are higher than usual. |
